Nice work Nicole Stout! You guessed it first. It’s a dirty job harvesting tomatoes! I’ve also added a photo of some of the sun gold cherry tomatoes I picked today! They are so good!

Who can tell me what I was doing in the garden today? The first person that is local who can tell me what I was doing by these photos will receive a free pint.

Sometimes date night is in the field picking jalapeños with headlamps on after the kiddo is in bed. Tonight we picked about 2 bushels of jalapeños a bushel of cherry tomatoes and several flats of tomatoes. If you are interested in buying in bulk before we split these up and sell at markets this week let me know. 1/2 bushels of jalapeños are $20. This particular variety is perfect for cowboy candy and is also a great size for poppers!

Love bacon, pork chops, tenderloin, ground pork and spare ribs? Here’s a chance to fill your freezer while supporting our family and the rest of our local ag community!

We have one more whole hog available for processing during the second week of September. Your purchase supports not only SEEK Farms, but also a local butcher shop, the best local feed store 😉, local feed mill, and several local family farms who grow the corn and soybeans used in our pigs’ feed.

Our hogs are raised on clean feed and surplus produce from the farm. No imported pork, factory farming, or complicated supply chain—just wholesome, locally raised meat with a small footprint and a big impact on our community.

Contact Liz by phone or stop by Kent's Feed Barn and ask sarah if you are interested in investing in your food and local farmers! We promise to make this easy and affordable with one flat fee! Text or call anytime: 937-207-4143.
