❤️ A quick PSA from Forkd
We honestly wish this didn’t need to be said, but we want to make something very clear before it ever becomes a recurring issue. This will be the only time we ever address something like this.
Forkd is a business built around growth, recognition, community, and positivity.
We will not allow our page to become a place where restaurants, business owners, their staff, our partners, or anyone in our community is torn down or bashed in the comments. Comments like that will be removed.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Everyone has different tastes, experiences, and preferences and that’s completely okay. But there is a time and a place for negative reviews or complaints, and our page will never be that place.
The entire reason Forkd exists is to help people discover local restaurants, shine a light on the people behind them, and celebrate the businesses that make our communities what they are.
There is already enough negativity in the world, in our communities, and sometimes in people’s personal lives. We have no interest in adding to it.
If a restaurant, its food, or its atmosphere isn’t for you, that’s okay. Not everyone is going to love everything. There are plenty of other places to try.
But over here, we uplift. We support. We celebrate. We spread love.
That standard applies whether a business is partnered with Forkd or not.
