Why is it always the pigs you think are going to be easiest that end up being the hardest to move? Our biggest boy (who we expected to be the problem child) was happy as could be, ambling along with tote lids as makeshift pig boards and a line of treats to follow.

For the other three, we took a hog panel, cut it into a roughly 2x4 mobile pen, and clipped it together with carabiners.

Our two smallest and youngest ones were absolute menaces to society. One even escaped from the trailer while we were bringing up the last pig.

Then who shows up? Amazon. Our gate was open, so they drove up and were gesturing with the package to ask where I wanted it while I was trying to prevent one pig from escaping the trailer, and Eric loads what was meant to be the last one. Meanwhile, our escapee is meandering along toward the Amazon guy, who wisely picked a spot to set the package and skedaddled.

But we got all 4 loaded and ready to go to the processor in the morning. 🥓🥩

Move to the country, get farm animals, lose your mind, and become THOSE neighbors who are always interesting to watch. 🤣
