Sad day. Got up to feed chickens and guineas and one of my guinea birds was dead. No sign of snake bite, he was fat and healthy. Any ideas from any seasoned farmers as to what happened? I'm heartbroken.

We are going to try our pumpkin patch again. Figured out, the only way to keep deer from eating it is to put up temporary fencing, even over top. These deer by our farm ain't playin'! They don't care about "deer repellant", hair, etc. Lol

We will host a reading and interactive for parents and kids ages Kindergarten thru 2nd grade. Free with donation of any school supplies, which will be donated to Springtown ISD kiddos. We will host this in the mini mansion, theme 1 room school house! Dates will be at end of July, TBA.
Feel free to dress up in vintage (circa late 1800s), or just come as you are 😃 Refreshments provided.

Stopped by Springtown Legends Museum and the curator there is so helpful! We are searching for additional information on our home and land to send to historical society. Hopefully we can get enough factual information together, and get a historical marker. ❤️
