DONUT TIME! Captain Jack's Donut Shack

It is OPENING WEEKEND! This Saturday (9/5) and Sunday (9/6) we will be open 9am to 5pm. Serving apple cider donuts, cider slushees, apple pie sundaes and more! Kick off fall with us this weekened and do some apple picking with our friends at Pick Your own at McDougal Orchards (our home base) and Pick Your Own at Romac Orchards (where you can find our bagged donuts!).

Capt Jack’s Donut Shack will have their opening weekend starting Saturday and will be open for hot donuts and other treats every Saturday and Sunday thru the holiday weekend in October.

Our wagon rides will begin this weekend, too and will run Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm (weather dependant).

We are lucky to have so many talented people as part of our crew this season!
Aria has been tending the gardens, gourd tunnel and cut flower area as well as working with our crew this summer. She came in on this rainy morning to work her magic on the dried flowers that she's been collecting, turning them into bouquets and wreaths with some foraged vines!

These Coralstar peaches have some incredible size this year, and they're freestone! Anyone looking to do some canning, now is a great time to stock up!

This is how excited we are about sending our first round of apples to be pressed into cider! We will have gallons and half-gallons of sweet cider for Labor Day Weekend!

We had lots of people picking beautiful raspberries this weekend, and they're already bouncing back with new, ripe berries! Did you know that we have one row of golden berries, too?
As a reminder, raspberries are open for picking every day but Wednesday!

We still have plenty of Zestar! and Summermac/Paulared apples, plus loads of white and yellow freestone peaches. It's going to be a beautiful day!
