We are truly honored to have been awarded Business of the Year on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the State of Utah County Address. We are grateful every day for the opportunity to share our family’s love of hard work, healthy food, and being a part of a supportive and outstanding community. Today we held our State of Utah County Address and had the opportunity to honor a few truly deserving award winners from this past year.
Business of the Year: Harward Farms, led by Jake and Sara Harward, recognized for their multi-generational farm, their commitment to education through hosting Utah County Farm Field Days and their contributions to agricultural tourism through Jaker’s Jack-O-Lanterns pumpkin patch.
Organization of the Year: Thanksgiving Point, led by CEO McKay Christensen, recognized for its world-class gardens, museums and educational programs that welcome millions of visitors each year and contribute significantly to Utah County’s economy.
Person of the Year: Kalani Sitake, recognized for his leadership as BYU Head Football Coach and for his impact on Utah County’s culture, economy and national recognition through the success of BYU football.
Person of the Year: James “Jim” Evans, for his lifelong dedication to public service, including his roles as Mayor of Orem, Alpine School District Board Member, Transportation Commissioner with UDOT, Executive Director of the Freedom Festival and service on the United Way Board.
Utah County is what it is because of the amazing people, businesses and organizations throughout the valley.
