Less than a week with the new ladies yet we are already smitten.

A super sweet ending to our kidding season. Suzy gave birth yesterday to two little doelings. The girls named them Robbie & Fiona. Suzy’s birth was picture perfect and uneventful just how we like it. We plan to keep the doelings. Mama and the kids are doing amazing. The silver lining to our sad story with Rue. We lost Rue and her babies a week before her due date a couple of weeks back. It was a very sudden unexpected loss. Today feels much sweeter and we are thankful for that.

Eating good over here with our pork shoulder “butt” roast. No need to overdo it with seasonings. Just a splash of apple cider vinegar with garlic, salt, and pepper will make for a mouth-watering dinner that feeds the family.

Hey ladies.

We are hoping two of our three does are pregnant for spring babies. We still can't tell quite yet with Suzie but Rue is definitely filling out for late May goat kids. Kidding season before we know it.
