Danny has been working so hard converting our hay barn into a horse barn for me. I am so thankful and excited to get this barn at our place. I wanted to build it on the “Rock” for “all else is sinking sand”. These verses will be within the walls of what the Lord has blessed me with.

We are praying for rain. 🌧️ we are getting a few drops right now. Looks very spotty. I am not sure when the last rain we had was, but I am thinking the first part of July. Our water is getting in very low supply for our cattle and we have never fed hay in August, until this year😢

Please join me in a Prayer for Rain 🌧️🙏🏻

Heavenly Father,

We come before you today with humble hearts, praying for rain.

Lord, you know how dry our land has become. You see our fields as they struggle, the grass that is dying, and the cattle and livestock that depend on that grass for their food. You know the worry in our hearts, and the uncertainty that comes with watching the land we work so hard to care for dry up.

Father, we ask you to open the heavens and send us the rain we desperately need. We pray for a good rain to soak deep into the soil, bring life back to the grass, fill our ponds, creeks, rivers, lakes, and restore what the drought has taken from us.

Please provide for our cows, and all other livestock. For all of the crop farmers, and anyone who is facing these same struggles. We do not want to feed our winter hay before fall even arrives.

Give us strength when we are weary, peace when we are worried, and faith when we cannot see how things will turn around.

We know that everything we have ultimately comes from your hands. We ask You to bless this land and breathe life back into these dry fields.

We trust you. We believe you are still in control, even in the dry seasons.

In Jesus name we pray,

Trying on a new bridle tonight and getting ready for a horse show on Saturday night. Byrdie enjoyed our ride tonight as much as I did. She gets better with each ride.
