We Forked Around and Found Out at the Black Molly Grill for a late lunch today 🐟🍽️
The Shrimp Scampi came through with a rich wine-butter sauce 👍👍. I ordered the lunch portion and still had some left to take home.
The Fish & Shrimp Entrée had a light, crispy batter, and the pasta salad side gave strong old-school South Beach Grill (Crescent Beach ramp) vibes 😉—a nostalgic win.
The Shrimp Snap appetizer had great flavor, but the batter was a little soggy under the sauce. Not a deal-breaker, just a note.
Two people in our party ordered the Cavatappi Corbo pasta—both liked it, and one really loved it. It’s her go-to!
The Ribeye Sandwich was another solid go-to favorite.
One of our Forkers started strong with the Peach Smash cocktail—refreshing and tasty, though the mint snuck in with a slight medicinal plot twist. Still sippable and fun.
The fried mozzarella was solid comfort-food gold, and the marinara nailed it with just the right pop of acidity.
The coconut curry conch soup brought good flavor and perfectly cooked conch; just wished it brought a little more heat to the party—temperature, not spice.
The Mahi tacos with sweet potato fries were the clear highlight. Beautifully cooked fish, and that pico tequila-lime sauce? Bright and fresh.
The Big B burger was exactly what it promised to be—straightforward, well-cooked, and satisfying without any unnecessary fuss.
We waited about 25 minutes for a table at 3:00 p.m., which says a lot about how popular this place is—the parking lot stays full for a reason.
The new location is nice and polished, though it does kind of lack the charm of the old Ho***rs Wings building 😂.
