Another great event with Marquette University in the books!

Their Anaerobic Treatment Short Course covered real-world challenges in anaerobic systems, and we were proud to be part of the lineup, sharing insights on reactor stability, monitoring strategies, and real-world troubleshooting from the field.

Beyond the sessions, it was a great chance to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones across the industry. Thanks to Marquette University for putting together such a strong program, we're already looking forward to next year.

Two of our own are taking the stage at this year's Marquette University Anaerobic Treatment Short Course.

VP Tale and Chris Hatch are bringing real-world lessons on anaerobic system performance, troubleshooting, and biogas optimization, the kind of insight that only comes from years in the field.

If you're attending, don't miss their sessions.

Happy Labor Day!

Today we're celebrating the operators, engineers, and field teams who keep water systems running safely and efficiently, often behind the scenes and without much recognition.

To our team and everyone in the industry doing this work: thank you.

Last week, our team exhibited at the Southern Company Tech Conference, connecting with utility and power generation professionals from across the industry.

Madeline Farmer, Matt Jones, and Rob Rust represented CRB Water at our table, talking through how we help power facilities tackle cooling water and boiler water treatment challenges, along with selenium removal solutions for FGD systems.

Great conversations and even better connections. Thanks for having us!

Your treatment program is only as good as your sampling. If you're pulling samples from the wrong point, or at the wrong time, even a perfect program can look like it's failing. Or worse, look fine when it isn't.

Consistent sample location, timing, and handling is one of the cheapest reliability upgrades you can make. Small habit, big payoff.

A binder on a shelf isn't a water management plan. It's paper.

A real plan documents your water systems, defines control limits, and shows what happens when something drifts, plus proof that someone's actually watching. That documentation is exactly what regulators, surveyors, and insurers look for.

NJ's S2188 now requires covered facilities to have an ASHRAE 188-aligned plan in place by September 2026, and it won't be the last state to raise the bar.

We break down what a compliant plan actually needs to include: https://hubs.li/Q04sCdR00

Your cooling tower can look like it's running fine and still be building the conditions for Legionella to grow.

The tell isn't always obvious. If pH drifts, your chlorine-based biocide can be dosed correctly and still barely working. If conductivity climbs without anyone catching it, minerals concentrate and create the exact surfaces biofilm needs to take hold.

The good news? These are chemistry problems, and chemistry problems are manageable when someone's actually trending the data instead of just collecting it.

We break down what to monitor and why it matters for Legionella risk: https://hubs.li/Q04s6ps10

Legionella thrives in unmanaged cooling tower water. Learn the chemistry factors that drive risk and how proactive monitoring keeps your facility compliant.
