Hello Neighbors and Friends! After a suggestion from one of our own, Kelly Wilson the idea for Extra Blessings was born. The thought mainly is how often are we making more than our family can eat? (Literally me every Tue with Tacos 🤣🌮) Could this be an opportunity for me to bless a neighbor in need instead of packaging them up and putting them in the fridge? This could also be the central location for when we know someone will have an upcoming medical procedure, the birth of a baby, etc, and a sign-up genius can be created. We also welcome "last minute" scenarios where you can post what extras you may have and allow someone to take advantage of your generosity.
Should you ever feel the need to remain private, I promise that you can DM me directly and I will coordinate logistics on your behalf.
Not many people know but I was out of work last year for 6 months. The toll that it took on us financially was hard. The emotional toll was even harder. I was very blessed to have friends and family that would help out when we needed it. I am really looking forward to this page being the opportunity for me as well as others of this amazing community to "pay it forward".
