One of the best sandwiches and it was only $10.30 + tax! 😍

Paris Banh Mi - St. Louis in the Delmar Loop. Giant Bahn Mi sandwiches - I had the traditional grilled pork and my husband had the pork belly.

They come with cucumbers, pickled radish and carrots, jalapeño, cilantro and a house sauce.

I had a coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had passion fruit tea.

After that giant sandwich I was so full but they had a delicious loooing dessert case as well.

What is your favorite spot in Delmar? I have never had a bad meal there!

At Arnold Farmers Market this morning and tried ROLD food truck.

They sell egg rolls in various flavors. We got he 20 pack and my husband and I each tried 10 flavors.

My favorite: Buffalo Chicken
My husband: Oreo Cheesecake

$27 and we are both full! What a fun idea. Have you tried them? If so what’s your favorite flavor?

Tomorrow is National Donut Day! I went a day early to Mochi Sweets in S County to enjoy some mochi donuts. If you haven’t tried mochi donuts they have rice flour in them so they are chewier than typical donuts and they usually come in a distinct round shape.

Flavors I tried today were:
Strawberry Cheesecake
Mango
Chocolate toffee crunch
Fruity Pebbles
Nutella
Blueberry Lemon

And I added a Brown Sugar milk tea with boba as well!

Super cute place and very friendly and the donuts were delicious!

Are you Team Traditional Donut or Team Mochi Donut? Where do you plan to celebrate National Donut Day tomorrow?

Ok foodies - the James Beard Awards are coming up soon and STL is representing this year!!

Congrats to all of the finalists. It’s great to see the amazing food scene we have get some national recognition.

While I think Nick Bognar is technically nominated for Sado- Pavillion, INDO - STL is my absolute favorite spot in St. Louis. I love the crispy dumplings, I love the garlic noodles. They have interesting flavors, delicious food and it’s just a cozy intimate vibe with amazing service.

If you’re looking for a date night that will impress without being stuffy it’s a great stop. Get reservations on the weekends - it’s small so books up.

What is your absolute favorite spot in STL?

Oh and Nick if you see this can you consider bringing back the pork steak lettuce wraps? You had them as a special the first time I went in 2022 and I still think about them! 😍

It’s located at 161D Tower Grove Ave St Louis MO 63110.

Hidden gem breakfast spot!

Clara B's Kitchen Table in Belleville Illinois located in an old train depot is adorable and the food was delicious!

Loaded burrito with chorizo and bacon, breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and cheese on a pretzel bun and a lemon curd and berry pancake.

The mocha from Long Shot Coffee was delicious as well.

What hidden gem breakfast spot should we try next?

A few weeks ago we talked smash burgers so today how about a nice juicy thick burger?

Today we’re at Stacked STL. My group tried the Wet Nap ( burger with brisket, cheese sauce, crispy fried onions and bbq), the special ( beef kafta patty with pickles onions, cucumber, labna and hummus on a pita) and create your own burgers.

We also tried the fried guacamole and prezel starters along with the chili.

If you’re team thick burger make sure to give this place a try. They have so many options for the create your own burgers! My husband did pretzel roll, beef patty, provolone, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, egg and garlic aioli.

What’s your favorite burger topping combo? Have you tried Stacked STL? What’s the next thick burger place we should try?

Finally got to try Chiang Mai STL! It’s been on my must try list for years and I was at the animal hospital around the corner today so was finally able to stop by.

I got it to go so the photos aren’t as pretty as if I’d eaten it there in person but the food was delicious.

My favorite was the chicken drunken noodles.

Have you tried Chiang Mai? If so, did I miss any must try dishes?

What should be my next stop in Webster Groves?

Route 66 turns 100 this year! You don’t need to drive thousands of miles to experience it. There are tons of classic stops right here in St. Louis.

First stop - Donut Drive-In.

It has all the nostalgia you want from a Route 66 stop and the prices are great. I got this whole box of donuts for only $12!

Then stop by the Route 66 sign in Kirkwood. It makes for a fun “tourist in your own city” kind of morning.

What is your favorite Route 66 stop in STL? Anyone planning to drive the entire trip this year?
