Charleston Power Family Garden Growing fruits, veggies, herbs and flowers for St. Louis City We are a mini orchard on a previously vacant lot in St. Louis City.

Since we moved to our current location in 2017, we have been settling and replacing fruit trees and waiting for them to get old enough to bear well. We grow hard to find produce varieties just for local customers. Fruits like Quince, Damsons, Pawpaw, Elderberries, and Prickly Pear have a home in our garden - right now we have Maypops, Peaches, Mulberries, Black Raspberries and Gooseberries as our

main fruits, lots of edible flowers, a large fresh herb garden, and various veggies (as space permits us to plant them!). Growing conditions are pretty great, we don't use any irrigation (just tons of mulch) or any sprays or chemicals.

I have two stand updates: first, no stand today, July 2nd - it's too hot for you to come and too hot for our produce! Second, here are a few pictures of stand offerings this spring: gooseberries and potatoes, black raspberries and fava beans, radishes and garlic scapes. Let's hope for better weather for July 16th, 5-6pm.
