Vicini is a small, neighborhood, Italian pastaria, café, and market focused on our house-made fresh pasta sold raw to cook at home, along with some grab-n-go

prepared foods perfect for a picnic in Lafayette Park, a local and imported Italian specialty food market, a small curated selection of European-inspired antiques, furnishings, home decor, and kitchenwares, and finally, dine-in counter-service lunch, communal Cena con Amici (“Dinner with Friends”) pop-up dinners, and cooking classes. We invite neighbors, guests, and friends to select some handmade pasta, meatballs, or local artisan products from the market to enjoy at home, or to gather around our table to share a prosciutto panino, a simple plate of our signature hand-rolled pici pasta, or communal family-style feasts; all lovingly hand-crafted with the utmost care and rustic simplicity characteristic of authentic Italian cuisine.

Join us for lunch on Mother’s Day this Sunday & treat mom to this delicious hyper-seasonal pasta lunch special we only offer a handful of days per year during the super short wild ramp season. These locally-foraged ramps (an umami-rich, deeply aromatic variety of wild leek) are mixed with creamy ricotta & stuffed into saffron-infused hand-braided culurgiones, a unique stuffed pasta shape native to the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia; lightly dressed with spring vegetables and arugula-almond pesto.

Our fall trip to Sicily captured our hearts 💕 and we returned with renewed culinary inspiration and a deep appreciation for Sicilian food, traditions, and the vibrant, unforgettable flavors that we’d love to share with you! Join us for a three-part series of hands-on/demo-participation cooking classes inspired by the dishes we fell in love with across the island. In each class, we will prepare 3–5 recipes that celebrate the soul of Sicilian cooking. After cooking together, we’ll gather around the table for a family-style feast, enjoying the fruits of our labor alongside tastes of thoughtfully selected Sicilian wines 🍷. Come share in our deep love for Sicily & take a “Trip to Sicily” with us through its vibrant food and flavors-NO PASSPORT REQUIRED! ✈
