Side Lot Farms is changing focus this year and looking for a handful of committed humans to help utilize the space I have built.

I want to share some responsibilities in exchange for a share of the produce. Mainly labor hours. I have almost everything else (greenhouse, raised beds, irrigation system, refrigeration units, tools...)

I am not looking to make this a huge financial incentive based operation, but rather focus on community building. However, I do think there are realistic small economic opportunities if we seek that.

I feel like 4-6 people would be ideal. The space isn't massive but big enough to produce more than enough food for that many families. That many committed people would also allow for relatively small input for decent output (think a few hours a week for a CSA type share of produce).

We will need to move swiftly as the season has already begun, but we are not too late by any means. I think we should all have a meeting to outline the basic plan, then schedule work based on such. I have never done this exact model before, so I am not sure exactly what to expect, but I will always remain open to ideas and suggestions on how we can make things better.

That moment when you get word that a wholesale buyer has committed to buying your entire tomato crop for the rest of the year!

On a side note, we need labor help for the rest of the season. Paying $10/hr, no experience required just a good attitude and willingness to learn and work hard.
