New Roots Urban Farm is a farming collective in North St. Louis that provides organic produce to the community. If you'd like to come check us out and learn more, you are welcome to come meet up with us during one of our work days on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 12-6pm.

As the spring season comes to a conclusion, we are gearing up for summer by planting a variety of fall crops like tomatoes, peppers, okra, and cucumbers, and saying see ya later this year to our cool-season crops. 🌶️🍅

🌻 New Roots Urban Farm's most impactful volunteer work takes place directly across from our farm, in partnership with Hogan Street Regional Youth Center, with whom we've worked consistently over the past 5 years.

Recently, we planted an array of produce including peppers, tomatoes, herbs, and melons in the center's upgraded raised beds and built a new enclosure for goats. Upcoming deliveries include a pair of bunnies and a flock of Cayuga ducks.

The youth we've worked with have encountered difficulties, yet they're provided opportunities for rehabilitation and growth. Those interested in supporting these efforts can DM New Roots Urban Farm for donation details. Thanks in advance from New Roots Urban Farm ❤️‍🩹
