We had purposely gotten out of torts last year when we brought the Goldens in. Obviously we still have the ability to make them because here these guys are (both parents are blk carrying tort). I hadn't planned on getting back into torts, but man, these guys are cute and making me want to change my mind. 😍

**Side Note - their Sire is a genetic lottery. He carries every gene except the 'A' & 'Es'. What was it that Forrest Gump said....🤣**

***Side, side note. Look at the funny Dutch with socks on. Yes, folks, you really never know what you're gonna get***

I know that 4 weeks is too early to say how a rabbit is gonna turn out on the show tables but c'mon LOOK at the head on that baby!!

OVERALL --
I REALLY have a positive outlook for both of my herds after this show! I think all my rabbits presented themselves well overall and my time writing for judges really gave me an insight to how the rabbits look to them, which made me understand placements more! I believe our next show is Perry GA on the 16th or 17th of October, and then we are off to Convention!

WOW, What a great show!

First & foremost, a hugh shoutout & thank you to the host club, NFRCBA, for a great show. This one is definitely our favorite & it will be one Elise & I remember for a long time. We had a lot of laughs, a lot of Dammit moments (totally forgot a rabbit at home), & we are pooped, but it was so much fun!

Kelly's section --
No official results yet, BUT I took BOB in 3 of the 4 shows in Dutch (with two different Dutch), and 2nd RIS with a great little blue buck that I recently acquired from Lonnie Harper, so and extra special thank you to him! Also, we all had a great laugh at my expense when Josh Humphries informed me that instead of a breeding pair of harlequins (like I thought I had) I indeed had two bucks. I honestly didn't believe him at first - gotta love that gender fairy. I have since renamed Emerald to Dammit. 🥴
And no post is complete without thanking the Supervisor of it all, Pat! We love our girls trips together.

Elises section --
I CANNOT wait to get my results posted when they come in. This show was a big confidence boost for me, in both my Dutch & Netherland Dwarf herd! I am incredibly proud of how my rabbits presented themselves, and one of my homebred bucks may have just earned himself the herd buck spot with a BEST IN SHOW!! Also be on the lookout for me with the Himalayan breed in the future.... I may have done a thing 🤭
