Primrose Hill Farm

Primrose Hill Farm We are an historic farm owned continuously by the Cookingham and Schoch families for six generations.

We hope to give families and friends a chance to gather together for an old-fashioned county experience as they choose and cut their own tree. For over fifty years we having been growing Christmas Trees on this former small family dairy farm. Enjoy the clean air, beautiful scenery, and historic buildings as you wander the fields searching for your perfect tree.

Did you know that kissing balls have been around since the middle ages? Starting as a good-luck charm made from evergreen branches tied together with ribbon, these decorations gained their "kissing" namesake when Victorian-era romantics started adding mistletoe. To accommodate for the extra decorations, they instead used an apple or potato to poke the greenery into!
