It may be chilly out there but at CRob's Hogs we're planning for the warmer weather 🌞🐷 After taking the 2022 season off for weddings, travel, and other obligations, it's time to get back to farming. We will be doing halves and wholes again this year!! PM for more info and to reserve some of the healthiest, happiest, most humanely raised, best tasting pork you'll ever eat! 🐖🐖🐖

Know your farmer know your food! Over 2 million pounds of commercially processed pork being recalled for listeria. Don't forget to check your Big Y hams because some of them fall under the recall! FYI none of Crob's Hogs hams are being recalled and they're delicious!

These pigs get a wide variety of farm fresh goodies including excess 🦃 and 🦆 eggs! Our pigs are super thankful (and of course so are we!!! :) ) for today's treat from Bush Meadow Farm, LLC 's productive poultry! Watch until the end to get a Mr. Pig weight update! 🐖🐖🐖🐖

Rob spent part of the afternoon putting together our new hog hauler! Our little piggies 🐷🐷🐷🐷 will be riding in comfort and safety on their farewell trip to freezer camp this fall.

Introducing the CRob's Hogs logo! Sunshine and open space makes for happy pigs 🐷, which makes for better pork! We take our tagline "Know your farmer. Know your food." very seriously and believe the quality of food we eat is directly tied to the quality of the relationships we have with the people who raise and grow it.

Many of you know that we have had a VERY soggy July thus far (15” of rain in two weeks) leaving most everything overflowing or flooded. The pig pen has virtually become a swimming pool and required expansion to higher, dryer ground. Rob to the rescue, giving these piggers more space and solid ground to roam around and root up. Huge thanks to Barry and Nancy for letting us expand to accommodate the pigs. 🐽🐽🐽🐽

Oh boy compost! These pigs are happy to eat up all the split tomatoes, past their prime cherries, and wrinkly pickling cucumbers that we give them 🐷🐷🐷🐷

We have exciting news at CRob's Hogs! We've been given an opportunity to move our herd of 4 happy pigs to a lush, untouched woodlot full of oak trees🌳🌳🌳, a couple small streams, and space for all the rooting they can handle. 🐽🐽🐽🐽 A big thank you goes out to Barry and Nancy for providing the land, sharing their knowledge, and last but not least by any means, helping me to wrangle that one stubborn pig into to the enclosure! We are looking forward to the next couple months of fattening these piggies under the trees😁😁
