Good morning from Ag Crop!

We have some news we would like to share with you, our customers. Ag Crop Insurance has been acquired by Capital Farm Credit and will move forward as part of their organization.

Ag Crop Insurance Agency was founded in 1998 in the old cottonseed oil mill west of Stamford, TX. Don Heller, Erick Richards, Sammy Nauert and Leigh Nauert, started with nothing but one phone line, one window air conditioner and a chance at something new. This agency has seen the ups and downs of the agriculture world in the last 28 years, helping our customers navigate and understand their crop coverage choices through it all. This agency has done more than provide livelihoods for its employees, it has been a place where relationships with our customers could thrive. From El Paso to Jacksboro and Byers to San Saba, we are truly thankful for your support and letting us serve you.

It is no secret that agriculture has been in a rough spot in our area over the last several years. The crop insurance marketplace has felt those challenges, and insurance providers are less willing to serve this area.

We believe that you deserve the best service and options for your operation, and Capital Farm Credit will help us provide that to you. You will have more options for insurance providers, products, resources and support behind the Capital Farm Credit name. This is a new chapter for Ag Crop Insurance, but it will be written with the same people you know.
