It's tedious having to bring the calf to the stanchion to milk. But I also kinda love it.

It teaches my little heifer calf from an early age to be with people, lead, tie, adapt, get comfortable with the stanchion, milk machine, etc.

Plus I relish being able to lead my well behaved cow and her new baby together back to the field 🤎❤️🐂

Chilling milk!
We've tried some different methods and currently this is working best. I'd like to rig up a big ice cream maker or something to move the jars around as it chills but currently I just give them a spin each time I walk by.

A fan in your milking area is 💗
Machine milking is such a game changer for so many reasons, not worrying about the fan blowing particles into my milk bucket just being one more advantage 😍

And yes, using a Simple Pulse to milk my one cow once a day, getting an average of only 1.5 gallons, is still 100% worth cleaning and using the machine!
