As we have officially closed Dow Farm this year other than some apples here and there, I am feeling nostalgic and remembering some of the wonderful people we met through this business. Thinking of Jane Gentry today while making her Grandmother's Green Tomato Picalilli Relish. She was one of our first customers at Dow Farm and always bought our Green tomatoes early, before they ripened so she could make this for her family and friends. We started growing a special tomato just for her so our other tomatoes could be left to ripen. So glad to have met you Jane and these are in your memory.
