We are starting our project with the plans of doing Equine Assisted Activies Vision Statement: To effectively help people to heal from emotional struggles by utilizing Eagala Services & Life Coaching options.
Mission: Empowering people to discover their authentic selves by experiencing the power of the pause and the equine connection.

We will be starting our 2021 season in the spring. We will be offering Equine Assisted Learning, Psychotherapy, and Life Coaching with horses, using the EAGALA model. Well I finally completed my first program/coaching group class that I am going to offer. This class will be a combination of a book club/Equine Assisted coaching program based off of Brene Browns Braving the wilderness. Anyone that is interested in learning more please message me and I will fill you in on the details. Obviously this won't start until after the virus is dealt with but HEY putting down time to good use by creating ideas and implementing is a good thing... Right?

So when one is sitting and waiting and waiting what does one do after praying? Me...read. I am currently trying to learn how to be more in the moment. A comment from my book A clinicians guide to teaching mindfulness states that our opinions are often just products of habit.....hmmm let that soak for a minute.

Since 2009 HOOVES has been helping veterans and their families heal from the stress and trauma that goes along with military service. It has been our policy that services will always be provided at NO COST. After serving over 300 veterans and family members, the program has been presented with an INCREDIBLE opportunity to have a forever home at this AMAZING retreat center. The purchase of this facility will not only secure the sustainability of the HOOVES Program, but will also allow us to HELP MORE PEOPLE.

The Farm Connections
Ponders from the pasture today. As I walked out with the horses this morning and enjoyed the beautiful fresh air and summer morning I watched as my six horses walked ahead of me into the pasture. I noticed that one of my more timid horses was actually walking further out ahead of the herd and by himself. I thought to myself wow that is awesome the he was heading off by himself rather than following the herd. I recently re-homed one of my horses thus changing the whole dynamic of my herd. This brought me to this thought. Some times it is a good thing for a group dynamic to change as it allows others in the group to move forward or in different directions. This movement may not have happened if that one person still remained in the group.
