Hello fello garlic lovers! We’ll get right to the point. It’s time for us to retire from growing garlic for the masses at the end of the market season this year. You can still purchase our garlic till the end of September at Cherry Hill Farmers Market (2-6pm) and the Scarborough Farmers' Market (9-1pm)till mid October.

The past 16 years have been phenomenal, to say the least. We’ve learned allot and met a ton of wonderful people! We started with 9000 bulbs and 51 varieties to this years 3200 and 12 varieties, both hardneck and softneck. Contrary to popular belief you CAN grow softnecks in Maine. They make wonderful braids for gifting and for storage. Now, if I had a nickel for every time I heard “I didn’t know there were so many varieties. I thought garlic was just garlic”,…no I’ve not done the math, but it certainly would be allot!

We’d like to send out a HUGE, HUGE THANK YOU to all our loyal customers, old and new, for supporting our “hobby”. We could not have done it without you!

We truly enjoyed sharing our knowledge on this wonderfully health plant. How to plant, when to plant, when to harvest, when to cut your scapes (hardnecks only), sunlight and soil requirements, the difference between hardneck and softneck, etc. The heart warming comments you all shared with me while at the markets, would certainly make my day! I will miss you all!!

Since we appear to be the only ones who have created this niche, we would love to have someone carry it on. We’re willing to teach anyone interested, as we do have a following that would love to see our presentation continue. You can message us anytime via our page.
