We specialize in Wyandottes but have a few other breeds as well all of which are bred as close to SOP as possible.

📂 RECORD KEEPING 📂

For the past 2 years I have struggled with what records need to be kept and how. Ive done everything including apps, self made sheets and excel sheets. Nothing is working for me.

That said I have some questions for everyone!!

1) Do you keep records?
2) What records do you keep?
3) How do you keep them?

Im planning some carefully selected breeding groups for next year and want to have all my chickens in a row 😅😅😅

I am beyond over run with silkie chicks!! Running a “brooder cleanout” special from now until Sunday.

All silkies of all ages are 💲1️⃣0️⃣. These are not hatchery quality chicks! My flock comes from carefully bred high quality lines. A few have been shown by the previous owner. There is high potential for some amazing birds!

Colors include paint, dominant white, black and blue. All come from paint breeding!

Local pickup in Stanley NC or can 🛳️. There will be minimums to 🛳️ based on age.

Bantam buff rock trio- both hens are laying 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

Paint silkie rooster- has some slight leakage on neck 3️⃣0️⃣

Bantam columbian wyandotte rooster- 3️⃣0️⃣

Bantam partridge wyandotte rooster- 3️⃣0️⃣

Growouts:

Bantam bobtail cochins- can make 3 pairs 7️⃣5️⃣ per pair. Pullets must go with a cockerel. Extra cockerels 3️⃣0️⃣ each

Silver deathlayer pair- 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

Standard silver laced wyandotte cockerel- has cross beak but is thriving. 🆓🆓🆓

Chicks: straight run only!

Paint, dominant white & blue silkies. Newly hatched to 3 weeks old 1️⃣2️⃣ each. 4 & 5 week olds 1️⃣5️⃣ each.

Silver deathlayer chicks- newly hatched to 2 weeks old 2️⃣0️⃣ each. 3-4 weeks old 2️⃣5️⃣ each. 5 week olds 3️⃣0️⃣ each.

Yesterday I made a trip to Georgia to deliver our entire flock of silver laced wyandottes to Cochran Cluckers. We also took June Bug Farms entire flock of blue laced red wyandottes. I learned 2 things from transporting. #1 I need enclosed crates I can put shavings in to keep them cleaner on such a long haul. #2 always scope out the meeting place to make sure they have plenty of room in their lot to transfer birds from one vehicle to the other. It was an awesome experience and I hope I get to do it more in the future. Meeting other people is much more enjoyable than just shipping birds and just communicating through facebook. I cant wait to see how well they do with our amazing lines of birds!!

I have 2 dozen hens choice silkie 🥚’s available. Colors include paint, dominant white, black and one pen has a blue hen in it so you could get some blue chicks too. Pickup always welcome or I can 🛳️ if needed come Monday. Ones that would go out Monday will obviously be fresher than the ones in the pic. I will also include extras I may get.

My silver laced wyandottes are the last LF group I have left. They are looking for a new home. There are 3 hens and 1 rooster. Turned a year old in February and laying daily. 2 of the hens are molting and look absolutely terrible so pics are before they started molting. Bloodline is Watercolor Creek Farm. She has been showing hers and I intended on showing mine but haven’t had the chance to make it to a show lately. I also have a ton of chicks from them available. Group is 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ firm and must either be picked up or you arrange a transport.
