Fall is here! Wishing you all the Best of the Season! Enjoy. Here in Stanley I am finishing the Washing of this years wool. Getting all dried in the sun. Carding has begun, Spinning as always. Preparing for Several Shows coming up. November is the Scottish Rite Hall in Santa Fe the week before Thanksgiving, so to work, to work! Reminder, ... this Fall I will be OPEN 10-4 Tue Wed Thru

Recently took a break from spinning. Fresh apples...pie time

It's 2. And I'm beat
Peeled all the remaing apples..pie cooked..rest in pot for applesauce. Peels a boil for jelly base
Double batch of spaghetti sauce done..I need a bigger stove!
Ice water and a chair for an hour or so. Horses * chickens got the cores make-up for not seeing metill done....whew

The deadline for Vendor applications is coming up!
April 4th is the date and now's the time to act and get yours in.
Remember to renew your membership before you apply.
It takes a lot to create this event each year and we really appreciate those willing to volunteer their time. We know that vendors are especially busy, but if you would kindly reach out to your friends and colleagues, we always welcome help.
Did you know about the Friends of MAVWA Facebook group? Once you’ve been accepted as a vendor, you can post images of your wares and share with your friends before the festival.
In 2025 we're going to be more in-touch with more newsletters to keep you apprised of the goings on of the Mountain and Valley Wool Festival. Feel free to respond to this email with any questions about this year's festival.

April 1 No not a joke Happy Spring

Busy here working on the new line of
angora and wool wraps and shawls!
SHADES OF GRAY!.
I sold out all during the last Festival in Santa Fe last Nov and Christmas orders, But my Angora bunnies have been working hard so that I now have plenty of Fiber for this years offerings.
First will be at the Golondrinas Spring June 7 & 8 (get tickets early and save) Of course will bring my hand spun yarns!
This year I am carding my own wool as there is no mill available to do that work. So, it is taking a bit more time to get caught up!
As always you can make an Appointment to come out to the Ranch and see what is current. I do have lots of hand Spun and Majacraft wheels and Spares available!! Remember to call ahead even I have to go out for Milk. Not eggs. I have a sh..t load

Spring Show June 7 & 8 and The Ren Faire Sept 13 & 14
Applications for Mountain and Valley Wool should be out soon

Application for the Fall Fiber Festival don't appear till late summer.

November is almost here, and we can transform into Winter Activities. Election Madness soon over: Let the Holidays begin!
Time to get back to our activities, you know knitting, weaving, spinning and felting! SO, ..beginning Nov 1, I am offering 10% off my Hand Spun Yarns and Roving. This will go thru Dec. 17.

This is a busy Month as the Fall Fiber Fiesta is Fast approaching. I am working on that. Please TEXT ME ahead if you are coming out to the Ranch. I will put the coffee on, and the dogs off!
