What an incredible weekend!

We are beyond honored to have served as the Parade Marshalls for this year’s Centennial Parade. While we may be transplants, this town has truly become our home. It’s where we’re living out our dreams, raising our babies, and making memories we’ll cherish forever.

Being recognized as Ag Family of the Year is something we’ll never take for granted. We’re so thankful to everyone who voted for us and to this community for the kindness and support you’ve shown our family.

A special thank you to our amazing Hoopsnake Ranch team for representing us so well, and to TP Hopper and Nancy Hopper for believing in us and supporting us in all that we do.

Thank you for making this past weekend one we’ll never forget. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this community!

Today was one of those days that reminds us why we love this life.
We moved some cattle, turned out bulls, fixed fence, and enjoyed a great day working side by side as a team and as husbands and wives.

Hard work, dusty boots, and a life we’re grateful for.

☀️ SUMMER RANCH HELP WANTED ☀️

We are looking for 2 additional workers to join us this summer from the end of May through August!

This is a great opportunity for high school or college students looking for summer work and hands-on ranch experience. This is not a live in position.

Daily tasks may include: Cleaning horse stalls & water troughs, Feeding horses & cattle, Fixing fence, Landscaping & general ranch upkeep, Cleaning ranch trucks, trailers, and 4-wheelers, and other ranch chores as needed.

Location: Stanton, TX
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. M-F.
Pay: $400/week
Age Requirment: 16+

We understand summer schedules and are willing to work around workouts, camps, vacations, and other commitments when possible.

Must be dependable, hardworking, and willing to work outdoors in the Texas heat.

Hybrid Ranch Hand / Horse Trainer / Barn Manager
Stanton, TX

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to oversee the daily care and management of our horses, horse barn, and surrounding facilities while assisting with ranch operations as needed.

We are a cow-calf operation with a strong emphasis on developing and maintaining quality working ranch horses.

This is not an entry-level position. Experience with horses, horsemanship, and ranch work is REQUIRED.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Cleaning stalls
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the barn & surrounding grounds
• Bathing, grooming, and daily care of horses
• Exercising and working horses
• Assisting with horse training and development
• Monitoring feed, health, and overall condition of horses
• General ranch work as needed

Compensation & Benefits:
✔ $48,000 salary
✔ Commission on all horses sold
✔ Fully furnished 3 bed / 2 bath home provided
✔ All bills paid (WiFi, electric, water, trash)
✔ Health & dental insurance
✔ IRA / retirement benefits
✔ Bi-weekly professional house cleaning
✔ Weekly dry cleaning service
✔ Personal ranch truck for work use
✔ Ranger for ranch use
✔ Room & board for personal horses
✔ Shoeing & dental care for personal horses

Ideal Candidate:
• Dependable and hardworking
• Clean and organized
• Confident handling horses independently
• Takes pride in the appearance of the barn and facilities
• Understands ranch life and responsibilities
• Long-term mindset and willingness to grow with the operation

Please note:
• This position is best suited for a single individual. Married couples may be considered on a case-by-case basis if spouse works away from the home.
• Due to the nature of ranch operations and maintaining a professional living environment, overnight guests/significant others are limited to a maximum of 3 days at a time.
• Well minded dogs are okay. Must be potty trained and not chase cars or trailers. No tolerance for poor mannered pets.
