Out checking a couple hives down by the pond where one was destroyed by a varmint and setting up some game cameras to see what we can spy.

Had to take a minute to vibrate with the hum of the bees and tell them what a good job they are doing.

It’s not just about the 🍯 HONEY, honey.

Less bees = less pollinators = less food!

If you see a swarm of honey bees, call your closest beekeeper! Let’s try to get them in to a hive box for safe keeping and controlled production.

If you’re close by, call us!! If we can’t get it we will try to find someone who can.

We’ve already lost two hives to 4 legged predators this Spring which is a first for us. This is a huge loss in both bees and honey production and a cause for us to shift gears on hive monitoring which is additional cost for apiary.
