Let’s talk Zoysia. Zoysia is considered a warm season grass. In order for the Zoysia species to survive winter, it needs to establish a deeper root system than its warm season root system. The deeper root system acts as an insulator keeping the grass alive underground while the blades go dormant. Therefore, the Zoysia doesn’t need to be stressed due to mowing or harvesting. Allowing for a deeper root system to establish.

With that being said. We will stop cutting all Zoysia Varieties for this season on October 25. Harvesting will resume in the Spring.

We harvest and sell our Bermuda year round.
