Don’t ask me how to narrow down your dahlia list… I DON’T KNOW, MARGO!!! 😂 Here’s 5 more you must have:
🌼 Gurtla Twilight: she is a delicious neutral white with just a kiss of violet on the petal tips. Perfect form for a pom.
🌼 Sandia Marmalade: this is an absolute showstopper. The color is aptly named and her petal structure is mesmerizing!
🌼 Twilight Boy: I have never seen a dahlia this color of purple. Ever. It is a perfect dark amethyst. You have to see it to appreciate it.
🌼 RNX King Salmon: the ideal subtle salmon peach color. The texture of the spiky petals is delightful.
🌼 WB’s Cecil: I adore the drama of the garnet petal backs wrapping around the bronze petal hearts.

Which one is the pastel buttery yellow dahlias of your dreams?👇
🌼 Coorabell Astrid: a new favorite. This is a very mellow color and the pale blush is divine! She fades out late in the season for a more ch*****ne color.
🌼 MM Buttercream: a great cut flower. The yellow is more icy and cool toned like an iced lemonade.
🌼 Bloomquist Cream: the soft yellow with delicate pin striping is elevated and chic. Great for wedding florals.
🌼 Lakeview Blush: playful twisty petals with pale yellow and cherub pink? Yes please!
🌼 2027 New Intro: this seedling has been a fave since it first bloomed. The bright yellow petal tips make it glow. Have any name ideas?
🌼 Creamy: she’s a classic and just the color of the fluffy new chick!

Am I the only one obsessed with lavender dahlias?
Please tell me no! Here are some of my faves…
💜 River’s Sonia: she’s technically classified as a pink novelty but in my climate she is a perfect Lavendar. I adore the spiky petals!
💜 Clearview Lila: you will be obsessed with streaked, twisty lavender petals. She gets better as the season progresses.
💜 Dancin’ Queen: the biggest stellar we grow! She looks like little parasols above your head in the garden. Also technically a pink but looks more lavender in our garden.
💜 Salish Twilight Girl: petal faces are a matte hazy lavender but the petal backs are boysenberry purple. Super striking!

Our in person tuber sale is returning bigger and better!

DahliaCon is coming back February 27th, 2027 with an incredible conference, in person tuber sale, and a vendor marketplace for all things dahlias!

This year it will be held at the Clark County Fairgrounds located in Vancouver, Washington in one of their State of the Art vendor halls… and with endless parking available.

The upick labyrinth is just a few weeks from opening. I’ve been working so hard to create this new experience just for you. My vision is a flower picking but slower and more intentional, so that feels like a journey. So many amazing details are coming together. The central pavilion is being built this week. My son is engineering an amazing Amy Dawson ~ Wind Phone | Wind Phone Near Me | My Wind Phone experience. My daughter is talking me into setting up a little library. And then of course, we have the Anne inspired boutique of my dreams with this cozy little spot to sit and fill out the guestbook when you are done.

Can’t wait to see you in Idlewild…
