It’s been a minute! We’re still here AND we are still rotationally grazing. We are so thankful for the rain lately but even more thankful we have stuck with rotationally grazing. Our land and animals thank us! 🙂
Chores look a little different with a new baby (picture credit to my 4 year old) 😅 but we are so thankful they get to be involved!! We are blessed and enjoying these last few months of summer. Rotationally grazing was not easy at the beginning.. after many hiccups we feel like we have a good system. Still learning along the way. 😌

Sneak peek of what it looks like moving the herd to a new paddock! Usually the sheep lead the way every time. Every evening when the crew sees us they start talking because they know they are moving and they are excited!! 😊

They are LOVING the chance to move every day into new paddocks. With these dry weeks we are thankful we are rotating them! 🥰💜

SPRING CALVES 2027 in the making 💓
Diesel came to be with his ladies & they were all happy to see him! Hoping bringing him back at this time will get us away from June calves! April/May is where we like to be. We have been rotationally grazing them and they have been respecting the 2 hot strands, starting to get the hang of moving from paddock to paddock! 🩵

Currently we have a bull calf available. This is our last calf for THIS calving season. We are anticipating calves next spring!
The cutest fluffiest little guy he is! Unsure what color he’s going to be as he’s like black & deep red lol BUT hims so cuteeee!!!

Babies!! 💜
Lambing & calving season is always so much fun, one of my favorites! We are just starting the lambing season & my favorite “Big Mama” kicked it right off with these beautiful triplets 🥰
Ivy has been the best mama with her Dun bull Calf (AVAILABLE) she & our angus take turns with the babies & it has been so cute to watch! Thankful for this sunshine and green grass popping up!!

**Dun Bull Calf available at weaning! Will start Weaning in October, ready in November.

NEW CALF ALERT🩵
Ivy had herself a BULL calf mid morning today. This is her first calving and you can’t tell! She is such a great mom and so attentive to her calf. Love watching them transition into being mommas.
*He will be available at weaning!! Message me if you are interested in him 🐂

We are praying for some warm weather to come and stay especially now having 2 calves & a couple more expected. 🙂
