Kleinschmidt Farms Customers. Just letting you know our second batch of broilers will be butchered Monday. They should be between 4-5 lbs. We do have first batch birds also available frozen and are larger at between 6-8 lbs. as well. They can be purchased off the farm fresh for a $0.75 lb. discount if you buy them before we have to freeze them or if you order ten or more chickens. The cost is $5.75 lb. whole chicken or $6.50 lb. cut up. These are KF 💯 Pasture-raised with clover, grass, and forbs pasture managed regeneratively. The birds have plenty of sun and insects and forage to augment their diet. KF surpasses most other local and pasture-raised broilers as they have 1600 sq. ft. of electric poultry netting fence paddocks and are moved daily with two layers of predator protection. They aren't kept inside movable coops or chicken tractors during the day and are fed a Non GMO feed that also has some of our own farms oats and peas in it. We use no chemicals or hormones in our production system either. We spend considerably more time managing these birds and trying to raise top quality chicken.
