It’s a beautiful morning to visit the farmers market! The sun is shining and the air is still.

This is our last farmers market of the season, so come get your goodies while you can!

This morning we have:

•Cinnamon Rolls
•Flour Tortillas
•Apple Pie
•Sourdough Discard Snickerdoodles
•Dill Pickles
•Gourds
•Green Onions
•Cilantro
•Peppers

Come say hi at the Hancock Market today at Hancock Commons Family Center! Lots of goodies and here until noon!

Today I have:

Today we tested some 2026 pickle batches and they passed our safety test! Yay!

Did you know that there are regulations regarding the safety of canned goods sold under Cottage Food Law in MN? Each batch has to meet a certain ph level. For pickles, that means we tested the brine AND the pickles. We have to make sure the whole pickle is safe (and not just the outside soaked in brine) so we blend up a sample to test the whole thing.

And as an extra layer of safety, we have to taste test them ourselves just to be sure they’re yummy 😋

You can expect to see some pickles for sale at our last two markets of the year, so come grab yours while you can!

The farmers market season is winding down 🍂

We will be attending two more markets this season and we would love to see you there!

We have a full and fun weekend ahead of us!

Tomorrow (Saturday), we will be at the Pope County Farmer's Market Glenwood Mn, rain or shine, with some fresh goodies and produce. (Cinnamon rolls, tortillas, fresh lettuce, green beans, and so much more!)

Then on Sunday, we get to join a super fun event hosted by our great friends at It All Makes Scents MN in partnership with The Crowded Table. The meal tickets are sold out, but there will be many local vendors there open to the public and farm tours throughout the morning (no ticket needed for those)! Come check out their operations and do a little shopping!

We hope to see you out and about!
