Applications Open for the 2026 Master Food Preserver Program 🥫🍓
Do you love the art and science of food preservation? Ready to deepen your skills and share research-based knowledge with your community?
Applications for the UMaine Extension Master Food Preserver Class of 2026 are now available, and due May 1, 2026 by 4:30 p.m.
This 8-part course provides in-depth training in food preservation methods and essential food safety principles. Upon successful completion, participants serve as trained volunteers, sharing trusted, research-based information from UMaine Extension and USDA with communities across Maine.
