THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out with concerns over weather this past week. It was brutal, definitely took a beating. But the good news is from what we can tell this far, much of the grove seems to be ok. Especially varieties like Bingo, Kisses and Satsumas. Some others look more sad but perhaps not catastrophic. Still too early to know for sure and winter is not done with us yet. But when it gets as cold as it did (18.4F), snow prior seems to actually help insulate providing extra protection against the raw elements and it didn't hit the 15-16F they predicted (that would have done way more damage).
