Beautiful Muse Vineyards near Woodstock, VA has a beautiful setting on the idyllic, crystal clear Shenandoah River overlooked by Masanutten Mountain. Not only beauty, but also sereious w**emaking and over 20 varieties of grape, meaning interesting w**e selection. It's not often you can taste Rhône Valley varietals, Bordeaux, Gamay, and an Italian blend all in one tasting, here in Virginia.

Accordia's Weekly W**e-Tasting preview • Guided Table-Side tasting of 8 W**es

I don't know about you, but I would come out for a w**e called 'Potato Land', especially a Grüner Veltliner.

This is a weekly event happening every Tuesday and Friday featuring 8 new w**es weekly. This is a pretty unique event - we spend several hours procuring w**es from many different importers and several hours on the notes weekly. Then we present them at your table, speaking about the w**es for 60-90 minutes. This means we are introducing over 300 new w**es through our little shop every year. Also, most of the shop features low-intervention w**es, meaning the w**es have few ingredients added, usually just one - low sulfites, sometimes no ingredients added. This week the Chenin Blanc has zero-sulfites added - No Intervention whatsoever. This is unprocessed food.
We charge a $20 fee, but we waive the fee if you buy a bottle, any bottle in the shop.
That is a good deal.
To boot, we also have a full food menu made in-house with fresh ingredients and a full bar in our new space next door - the full bar also features house-made infusions and ingredients.

This week we are hosting Matthieu Finot of Domaine Finot
VA W**E MONTH

–Matthieu is the head w**emaker at King Family Vineyards. We'll be tasting w**es from his 'garagiste' project called Domaine Finot Virginia and sister w**ery Domaine Finot France, where his brother Thomas is making w**e in the French Alps and Rhône Valley. Matthieu was born in Crozes-Hermitage in the Rhône Valley, studied viti and oenology in Beaune, Burgundy - then worked in Italy, South Africa, and in France (Rhône, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Provence, and Jura). He's been a fixture in Virginia for 23 years now. His w**es are some of our favorites.

Verdesse Skin Contact • Rare Grape on the tasting this Thursday with Matthieu Finot.
Verdesse is a rare grape with only 25-32 acres growing worldwide, primarily in the Grésivaudan Valley of Isère, France, our old home. Come try this skin-contact version made by his brother Thomas Finot. These mountain w**e rock!

–Our neighbor Words Matter Gift Shop & Accordia present The Last Window–

by local author Jo Massanari who had a conversation with AI about the future of humanity and wrote about it. Jo's career has been based in the California tech industry which offers some real insight into this topic.
