Ending our 2026 flower season with a BANG 💥🌸 Our largest wedding to date, and what a way to wrap up the season!
There’s no way I could have pulled this off without my incredible village, and I am SO, SO thankful for everyone who showed up for me this week! 🩷
A few very special thank-yous to my dream team:
🩷 Shawn, for keeping our house together while I turned it into a disaster 😂 and helping pack and deliver FIVE cars full of flowers and supplies.
🩷 My Mom, for keeping me fed and caffeinated, helping with absolutely everything, and managing my master packing list.
🩷 My Dad, for gathering greenery and hydrangeas, figuring out centerpiece packing, and working SO hard on the arch.
🩷 Kimberly Ridings for jumping in the morning after returning from a week in Canada to transport, unload, and set up everything!
🩷 Gabrielle for saving the day and working so hard on the arch.
🩷 Lindy, our little firecracker, for cranking out centerpieces at lightning speed and making it fun!
🩷 Laura, for harvesting ALL our flowers for HOURSSSS. Truly a labor of love!
💗 Blair Fowler Halterman and Mary Whitesell for selflessly delivering delicious dinners during a crazy busy week.
And a huge thank-you to Blue Ridge Flower Exchange , Central Virginia Flower Collective , and Hartnett Flower Farm for the gorgeous local flowers, Mary and Bret Fowler Shreckhise for sharing your personal hydrangeas and Melissa Honey Bee's Florist for saving the day with extra greenery!
It truly takes a village, and I feel so lucky to have mine. From the big jobs to the last-minute emergencies, I’m grateful for the people who believe in me and help bring these crazy flower dreams to life. 🥹🩷
Finally, a HUGE thank-you to Alex and Emma and their families for trusting BDB with such an important day. It’s an honor to play a small part in such a special moment in your lives!
What a way to close out the growing season: exhausted, emotional, incredibly proud, and SO full of gratitude. I truly couldn’t do this without all of you. 🥹🌸
