Offering our flock of layer ducks as a group (preferred) or separately.

5 hens and 1 drake

All ducks are hatchery stock and the hens breeds are Buff, Silver Appleyard, Welsh Harlequin, and Khaki Cambell.
The drake is a crested silver Swedish.

All between 1-2 years old except the welsh harlequin who is a couple years older I believe. The hens are laying, the drake is active, and they’re great about going into the coop at night once they know where home is.

Hens can go separately at 2️⃣5️⃣ each or the whole group can go for 7️⃣5️⃣.

This one is an exciting one! This is Till-Riv SW Sorcerer *B first breeding and we had some question on how well he could reach. But he went ahead and proved us wrong 😂

Bear is a doe I really admire both on the milk stand and on the move. Her length of body, angularity, and overall dairy appearance really stands out. Shes gained some more depth this year and other than her rump, she is a pretty well rounded doe in my opinion. She has large teats and orifices, as well as crazy strong attachments.

I chose Rory for her due to his length, overall flatness over his top line, and straightness between the hocks. He’s just a nice looking buck kid and we’re hoping to bring in some medial from his dams side, as well as improve production. His dam, SpringWater AL Intuition Magic 5*M VVEV 86, is a lovely doe who peaked at 5.2lbs on test. Her SD is SG Sugar Moon RB Gianna 2*M VVEE 89 who peaked at 6.8lbs of milk as a 4F.

Next doe on the roster is Miss Haddie!

Haddie is a stout doe. Both wide through her chest and rear, well angular in the rear, and flat over her top line. She has lovely teat size and udder texture, and milks out nicely! Although she did get sick this year and unfortunately didn’t milk like her usual self.

We crossed her with Ducati to give her a little bit more refinement in the GA department, as well as improving foreudder attachment and overall production. Ducatis dam, SG TUA Farms SH Smoke and Mirrors 2*M +EEE 89 is a lovely productive doe that peaked at 7.4lbs of milk and 9.3% butterfat as a second freshener.

Another one down! Pepper is 21 days post breeding today and hasn’t made a peep.

Pepper is a doe I truly love. She is being retired after this kidding and has never had a doeling (between the 7 kids she’s produced 🥲) so I’m hopeful she will finally have a doeling! Her udder is extremely well attached with teat placement I adore. She has nice rear legs and has nice width in the chest and rear. She also has incredibly depth. While she isn’t my most productive doe, she should star next year on test without issue.

I chose Ducati for her for production, teat size, and of course his front end assembly. Ducatis dam, SG TUA Farms SH Smoke and Mirrors 2*M +EEE 89 is a lovely productive doe that peaked at 7.4lbs of milk and 9.3% butterfat as a second freshener.

This pairing does have 2 open doeling reservations. I will be honest and say given her history, they are not super likely to come through. But the possibility is of course definitely there!

Moose Ridge M Swiss Miss x TUA Farms BF Exotic Illusion *B

Missy was a yearling FF this year and we are SO pleased with how she’s turning out. She’s long, level, has lovely depth for a yearling, and milked like a champ! Had we been on test I have no doubt she would’ve starred this year. We will be on test in 2027 and I cannot wait to see how she does. She has nice rear udder shape, teat placement, and started to develop a cute little medial before we decided to let her just dam raise her doelings the rest of her lactation.

We decided to cross her to Ducati to tighten up her front end, give her a little more straightness and angularity to her rear legs, and help improve teat size. Ducatis dam, SG TUA Farms SH Smoke and Mirrors 2*M +EEE 89 is a lovely productive doe that peaked at 7.4lbs of milk and 9.3% butterfat as a second freshener. So of course he should bring in some lovely productivity as well!

Duchess is a 5 year old doe we brought in this year who quickly became one of our favorites!!
Last year she peaked at 5.2lbs and averaged 4.37lbs across her lactation. We really love her depth of body, dairy strength, and her angularity. In the udder department we really appreciate her capacity, teat size, udder texture, and overall rear udder shape.

We decided to cross her with Ducati to improve length of rump, as well as tighten up front end assembly. Ducatis dam, SG TUA Farms SH Smoke and Mirrors 2*M +EEE 89 is a lovely productive doe that peaked at 7.4lbs of milk and 9.3% butterfat as a second freshener.

We’re very excited to see the productivity and style that these kids bring!
