Cutie little 2 week old bottle buckling looking for new pastures!

He developed white muscle disease and although he’s treated and is doing fantastic, he does have a little bit of a funny gait. He will likely move normal again once he’s older and has gained more muscle in his hind end again, but I don’t know for sure.

He’s solid on the bottle, gets around great (just looks funny doing it) and ideally needs to go someplace with kids his own age. He’s a super sweet boy but we don’t have any buddies to keep him company other than an older wether who tolerates him more than anything lol
He doesn’t require any special care. He just needs a buddy and someone who accepts that he’s a little different 😂❤️

Dam got CDT before kidding, he’s received BoSe (for his WMD) and you’re more than welcome to bring him by at 8+ weeks old to be banded.

Two ADGA registered Nigerian dwarf does looking for new pastures in Stayton OR.

1. Rockin P Goats Moon Pie
Moonie is a sweet yearling doe who had a single kid this year. With her only having a single kid, her production was on the lower side. I think with another freshening she could potentially really blossom. Her full sister peaked at 3.4lbs as a FF last year. We did not weigh Moonies milk this year but she is trained to milk by hand or machine, and hops up on the stand with ease. She has nice plump teats and good udder texture. She could potentially make a good home milker, 4H animal, or starter doe for someone building a herd.
She can leave at the end of the month and will be dried off. Assuming she goes to a clean herd she’s welcome to come back in the fall for a complimentary driveway breeding to a buck of your choice.

2. Beams Caprine Capers Venus
Venus is a 3 year old doe that starts off shy and once she knows you, will never leave your lap again. She’s sweet and very well built. She had a single doeling this year, and of course her production did reflect that. If I had to guess she was producing about 3lbs per day. She is now dried off and ready to go anytime! She also has plump teats and good udder texture. Her teat placement is not my favorite and I would recommend she go somewhere that machine milks given their placement. She could be a very nice little 4H doe for someone and given her structure could be a great brood doe as well imo.
Assuming she goes to a clean herd she’s welcome to come back in the fall for a complimentary driveway breeding to a buck of your choice.

Happy to answer any questions about these girls (or get fresh pictures) just shoot me a pm.

In other good news we have 6 goats leaving (or having already left) this week! 5 bottle babies and this sweet little doeling out of Mt View Meadows GS Foxy and Oakfield MI Roman Holiday.
So grateful to have gotten most of the kids from the last part of kidding season spoken for so quickly! A big thanks to both new buyers and repeat buyers for supporting us and giving our goats some fantastic homes 🥰

It’s been a bit of a rough/hectic week but look at this little guy go ❤️

Tiny Tim as we call him developed white muscle disease. To the point where his back legs were completely stiff and he could not stand or walk at all. It took us a few days to “connect the dots” but after he was treated with BoSe he’s improved leaps and bounds ❤️ He is not completely normal, as you can probably see in the video. But one of his rear legs is back to a completely normal range of motion, and he can now stand and walk on his own.
He definitely lost significant muscle mass in his rear end (he has a very skinny butt now) but as he walks more and gains strength I think he will continue to improve.
Proud of the little guy ❤️

Note that we do offer a complete mineral and our does get BoSe before kidding. But he was the runt and may just not have been getting quite what he needed.

Hay day in the goat pasture! Once per year the pasture the goats live on is harvested for orchard grass haylage to feed the beef cattle. Once these bales have been wrapped and taken out, the goats will go back out. They LOVE this time of year. When the grass gets overly tall they don’t enjoy being out in the middle of the pasture. So usually we get some pretty good zoomies when they get back let out after the field is cut!

(There was an issue with the net wrap so don’t judge the bales lol they’ll be getting wrapped in plastic anyways)

Disbudding day is the worst 😬 The 5 bottle boys are leaving today and this weekend so they needed done. The little doeling got off easy since she’s tiny and I can wait 😂🥲
