Founder Dr. John Lupori of Steamboat Springs, Colorado has brought his passion for art and whiskey together with the creation of American Woman Whiskey. He and his two daughters and son gathered a group of talented and successful entrepreneurs from coast to coast, and crafted an award-winning bourbon in a patented, custom bottle. With women’s empowerment in mind, American Woman Whiskey has pledged

1% of proceeds to the Women in the Arts in honor of his daughter Caroline. This initiative supports the efforts of female artists and entrepreneurs. American Woman Whiskey is deep-seated in the heart of bourbon country. After being initially distilled, its loaded onto the truck and heads west to be aged in Colorado Springs, CO and properly finished in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. American Women Whiskey is distilled and distributed into four different char level, Cooperage New Oak Barrels from a 100+ year-old forest. The bourbon then sits at 6,035 ft in elevation for over 2 years as it becomes an iconic straight bourbon. Finally we combine the bourbon from each different char level and place our meticulously crafted bourbon in a bottle designed to be set apart among the age-old American bourbons.
