It's decorative gourd season, folks! Give in to that seasonal urge and start your porch pumpkin problem at Pine Root! We have hundreds of huge to tiny, pink to warty, edible to no-not-that-one! pumpkins grown by Johnny Pease and Max as well as some beautiful hardy mums grown by Shana Martin next door in Porter (not trucked in from who knows where). Compact corn stalks, too!

Tomato season is in full swing! Get your paws on some of these tasty guys at Portland Maine Farmers' Market in Deering Oaks this Saturday 7-1pm. Have you made sauce yet? Lots of seconds are available, too!

We've also got a ton of other yummy food on the truck: Apples, Basil, Beans, Beets, Bell Peppers, Cabbage, Cukes, Garlic, Hot Peppers, Husk Cherries, Kale, Peaches, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Radishes, Sunflowers, Sungolds, Winter Squash....

And since there are so many other awesome farmers at the market from across the state, you could probably find everything you need for the week and then some!

Looking for a fun weekend outing? Visit the Stand in Steep Falls and pick out a pumpkin from the hundreds we have on display, then take a walk to the river. Open Daily 9-6 and fully loaded with summer + fall goodness.
