They've got a cool clean pool y'all. They still prefer this. The mud helps cut the heat and protect their skin. This heat is making them miserable. They are very clingy right now and I'm outside with them as much as possible, making sure their water is fresh and monitoring them. How do wild pigs deal with heat?

He's the cutest but also the most disobedient. He's the only one of the sensational seven that refused to come for dinner. He was much too interested is the weirdness that he found growing in the yard.

It's all or none when I put them up for the night. So here I am, bucket of feed on my head so Blossom doesn't rip it away from me, trekking back across the yard with six other goats jumping on me and trying to trip me....and I'm yelling, "Looooooveeeettt!!!" He flat out ignored me until I got right up to him. I'm tired y'all. Little STINK!

We explored a new area of the woods today. This spot has been top contender for putting up a second goat pen. I'm not so sure about it now though. They seemed unsettled and didn't stay long before running back to the familiar part of the yard leaving me sitting there by myself. 😂 I'm going to trust their judgment and move on to plan B.
