You may wonder why we pull back into the syringe when giving injections in the vein. This picture explains why. We don't pull back to make sure we're in the vessel, we do it to make sure we're in the RIGHT vessel. Today I went to give an injection and pulled back and saw blood brighter than I wanted. I decided to go and get a new dose of sedation and once again pulled back and then gave my dose of sedation. The syringe on the left was my first injection and the syringe on the right was my second injection. Does anyone know why I shouldn't have injected that first syringe? And had I injected that first injection, what would have happened?

10 year old grade jet black gelding. Standing 15.2 hands tall. He’s tall, dark, and handsome and the kind you’d take home from the bar but not the one you’d stay with. He’s the red flag everyone wants 😉. He’s the best b***y call you have. Ride him hard and fast and leave him off for 3 months until you’re bored again. He’ll be as good as he was the last time you were riding him. He’s a bit grumpy and would prefer to do his job and be left alone. He’s not one you go and love on in the pasture and tell him he’s pretty. He’s wicked fast and knows how to turn a barrel. He’s available for a short time only until we tune him and start getting stats on him. He’s a little hot and spicy but not dangerous. If you don’t know how to ride a strong horse he’s not the one for you. He runs hard and turns even harder. Absolutely has the potential to become a 1D horse/rodeo horse with the right rider! Requires some maintenance.

Rip is an 8 year old AQHA gelding by Lucky Two Hat out of KRS Doc Eyed Abby who is by Ima Two Eyed Cutte95. Rip is the definition of tall, not so dark, and handsome. Standing at 15.3/16hh. He’s a big gentle giant.

He’s a horse of many talents including heading, occasional ranch work, trail
horse extraordinaire, but prefers to run barrels. He’s been on the pattern for a short amount of time but absolutely loves it and thrives in the barrel pen. With some more seasoning he has the potential to be as 2D/3D horse and is currently cruising in the 4D! He’s a big horse which means he’s going to thrive in a big pen, however, can definitely make a nice run in a smaller pen. If you’re looking for a solid high school mount you can continue his seasoning while you’re running him. He absolutely wants to please. Doesn’t get excited and absolutely no funny business. He is PUSH STYLE!!! If you don’t know how to hustle a big horse then he may not be the one for you, however, come try him you may just love him as much as we do! There’s races every night of the week up here. Come ride him one day and haul him the next. You won’t regret it!

He is completely sound to our knowledge. Does have shoes all the way around and we prefer him with shoes rather than without but he’s also wonderful barefoot.
