It's been a bit. So hello!! I just wanted to let you all know we are still alive. Here's the plan of attack from here on...

It's been a bit. So hello!! I just wanted to let you all know we are still alive.
Here's the plan of attack from here on out. I'm focusing on irrigation for next year. We will repair a little as we go since there wasn't insurance to cover the damage. I don't know if there will be much produce or flowers as the grasshoppers are a multitude and are large :(
The plant damage is profound. We will have to till again which we were hoping to not do this year... but to kill eggs...it will be done. Cover crops will be grown through the winter. They will provide a living mulch that will die once terminated in the spring. Seedling sales will be much smaller.
We will see what we can accomplish through this fall and winter.
Thanks and even though we are open...we do not have anything available. I will post here if we do! Please share and follow the journey. We haven't given up, but we do have to pivot. Thanks for being our tribe.
