One year.
Today marks one year since we opened the doors to Sterling Valley Vineyards, and as I sit here reflecting on everything this past year has brought, my heart is filled with so many emotions.
What many people may not know is that just two days before we opened our tasting room, my dad passed away unexpectedly. It was one of the most difficult times of my life. While trying to process the loss of my father and navigate a grief I never imagined, I was also doing everything I could to support my husband as he prepared to open the tasting room—a dream and passion project he had spent years working toward.
There were moments when I wasn’t sure how we would make it through those first days, weeks, and months. But we did. And we certainly didn’t do it alone.
From the deepest part of my heart, I want to thank our incredible tasting hosts—Tiff, Therese, Carol, Marilyn, and Jill. You are the heart of our tasting room. Your kindness, dedication, laughter, and genuine care for every guest who walks through our doors have helped make Sterling Valley Vineyards the special place it is today. I am forever grateful for each of you.
To our family and friends who have supported us, encouraged us, and showed up for us every step of the way—thank you. Your love has meant more than you will ever know.
And to our amazing customers, thank you for your loyalty, your support, your kind words, and for choosing to spend your time with us. You have become part of our story, and we are so grateful for every visit, every conversation, and every memory made here.
This winery has always been a dream of my husband’s, and watching it grow into everything he imagined—and more—has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
