First red currants of the year and a very large hosta that get up to 2 foot wide leaves. A heavy frost late really hurt its development this spring.

Some Siberian Iris pics. They don’t last long but are an early favorite around here.

Dandy helped me with 30 berries, 20 asparagus, 10 perennial flowers, 20 rhubarb, 20 comfrey, many strawberries, 2 peaches, two cherries, two hardy kiwi, 3 hardy citrus, 4 quince, 6 pears, 47 apples and assorted currants, gooseberries, hardy cranberries, and some cool golden raspberries, some hardy carpet thyme and two nice irises. I grafted all but 14 of the trees. Things will be looking up soon!

On the left we ran baby ducks and geese in grass last year. On the right is a heavily sprayed corn field grass buffer.
