Vegetables currently available in our store are fresh picked lettuce (green, red and purple ) from this morning, kale, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, eggplants, zucchini, watermelon, onions and garlic.

Lettuce is back! See us at the Sterling and Dixon farmers market today until noon in Sterling and 1pm in Dixon. We have watermelon, onions, Todd Family Garlic, kale, Chard, lettuce heads, bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, eggplant, jalapenos, zucchini, cucumber, pickling cucumbers, eggs, cheese and frozen chicken.

This year’s garlic crop didn’t fare very well out here, so were happy to announce that we’ve teamed up with Todd Family Garlic to bring you locally sourced, farm fresh gourmet garlic.

Todd Family Garlic is located in Polo, IL and many of you who shop at the Twin City Farmer’s Market are familiar with seeing David and his family there over the past several years and have enjoyed using his selection of garlic.

We’ll have the garlic available Saturday mornings at both the Twin City Farmer’s Market in Sterling and at the Dixon Farmer’s Market. We also now have it currently available at our farm store at 24562 Como Rd. Sterling, IL and the store is open 24/7.

Varieties available are Korean Red, Montana Giant, Chesnok Red, and Georgian Crystal. See picture below for flavor description.

Tomatoes are in full swing. The store has been freshly stocked with cherries along with red beefsteak, Cherokee Purple and Dr. Wyche's yellow heirloom tomatoes. We also have cucumbers, zucchini and rhubarb along with our eggs and cheese. The freezer has also been restocked with frozen chicken.

We have fresh picked cherry tomatoes today in our farm store. We also have cucumbers and zucchini as well in the cooler. Big tomatoes aren't far behind. We're starting to get a few big ones that are also in the store and I'll post once they really start coming in.
