Saturday, June 27th, Gale Handcrafted will be offering the following baked goods along with their handcrafted lattes, coffee, chai and tea.

• Double Chocolate Chunk Muffins
• Lemon Blueberry Muffins

We make our baked goods out of gluten free ingredients. However, it is not a gluten free kitchen.

New This Week From Koster Farms:

This week we will have two new salads to offer:

-Reuben Salad:
I created this salad for people who love a reuben sandwich! It has corned beef, Swiss, a little sauerkraut, my own thousand island dressing, and rye bread croutons on the side. All six of my family taste- testers loved this salad, including me!

Greek Salad:
I'd never had this salad before but was anxious to try it. I loved it! The dressing is outstanding, with olive oil, red wine vinegar, chopped fresh garlic, fresh oregano, a little Dijon, and some honey and olive brine for extra flavor. This vegetarian salad includes tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, and romaine lettuce. Really tasty!

We hope you're enjoying our selection of salads! We plan to have at least three salads on the menu starting next week. Preorder by Tuesday evening to reserve your salad so you are not disappointed! Call or text me at 815-973-9856.

Good News From Koster Farms!

Hello everyone,

I have decided to get back into food service, this time with a line of fresh, delicious salads made from our own hydroponic produce! With the realization that most people want to eat healthier, but lack the time and energy to prepare nutritious meals, I hope this will be helpful to you. I think you'll be delighted with our selection and the tasty homemade salad dressings in each recipe. Our menu currently includes five salads:

1. Layered Basil Salad
2. Chicken Cobb Salad
3. Vegetarian Taco Salad
4. Reuben Salad with Rye Croutons
5. Chef Salad

All salads are a complete meal and will be packaged in a clear, compostable, environmentally friendly bowl. The price for each is $14. You can preorder to reserve the salads you want -- just text me or call to place your order by Weds evening.

For our first week, this Saturday, June 13, we will offer two salads:

1. Layered Basil Salad- lettuce, ham, peas, macaroni, carrots, cheddar cheese, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, and creamy basil dressing. (Some of you will remember this delicious salad from my earlier days at market!)

2. Chicken Cobb Salad- lettuce, chicken breast, bacon, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, feta, chives, and olive oil/red wine vinegar dressing.

We will gradually introduce our other salads in the following weeks.
