We have some very important updates to share for the 2026 Christmas season.
First of all, we want to thank you all for your patience and support. If you came to the farm in the last few years, you know how hectic the season has become. Because of dwindling supply and increasing demand, we have encountered parking issues, traffic, and long lines for shaking, baling, entering the Carriage House Shop and paying the cashier. We also ended up closing early to preserve trees for the upcoming seasons.
New for 2026, anyone wishing to cut their own tree on Friday or Saturday, November 27 or 28 must have a reservation. You will not need a reservation to buy a precut tree, purchase anything in the Carriage House Shop, or buy any wreaths, roping or other greenery. You only need a reservation if you wish to cut your own tree on the two days immediately after Thanksgiving Day. Beginning Sunday, November 29, trees can be cut without a reservation while supplies last.
We announced the reservation system at the farm last season and as a result, the limit for the number of people who can make a reservation has been reached. Those who have registered will be getting an email from Evergreen Farm with the Subject: “Evergreen Farm Reservation System” in October with instructions on how to make their reservation. Please check your Junk and/or Spam folders just in case.
Our goal for 2026 is to proactively alleviate the overcrowding issue and preserve our inventory for years to come. We hope to have the reservation system live by the first of November. We appreciate everyone’s patronage and patience as we try to make the experience more enjoyable for all.
