Welcome BUCKET RUCKUS .ruckus.compost - our latest tenant at Central City Market! This local business offers their services for both residential and commercial! They will be utilizing this warehouse space for storing extra buckets, pick-up and drop off , loading and unloading, cleaning, and so much more!

Bucket Ruckus teams up with - a bicycle-powered delivery service in Stevens Point! I’m sure you’ve seen them biking around and now they have a new location to work out of! We are so lucky to have them.

Recently, we've been awarded a Community Development Investment matching grant through the WEDC (Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation) in the amount of $155,000. In order to receive these funds we need your investment! It is a 3:1 matching grant, so this means if you invest $1,000 today, we receive $250 in matching funds when we apply it to qualifying renovation build out. These grant dollars do expire, and our goal is to use them up by the end of 2023. Let's do this together! We want to thank the great people at the WEDC and the City of Stevens Point for supporting our vision.

We made the front page! Central City Market was recently interviewed by the Stevens Point Journal. We welcomed them into the north warehouse space, gave them a tour of the project and simply shared the story and history of the Cook & Altenburg Cooperative. Oooo a lovely greenhouse assembly! You may have gotten our newsletter last week giving you all a little update on what Central City Market has been up to! If you aren’t signed up for our newsletter and want to read the update, send us a message and I’m happy to give you more details.

While we continue to refresh and reevaluate, exciting things are still happening! Join us in welcoming our new tenant in the north warehouse, - It is our goal to create space for good people doing good things. Jim & Katie are just that! They started moving in this October and have put some extra lovin' into this warehouse space in the past few weeks! They plan on producing mead, which is an agricultural wine made by fermenting local honey. They will also utilize this space for growing and selling tropical houseplants. We will keep you posted as they continue to grow their business in Central City Market!

Stay tuned for more folks - we’ve got goals and we’re excited for you to be a part of it.
