We raised a different kind of “crop” this winter 🤪 our sweet dog, Jenny, has three puppies looking for homes! These are the last puppies she’ll ever have, and we were hoping to find homes for them locally. We’d love for them to visit us in the springtime to pick strawberries 🍓🐕🦺🥰

All pumpkins in the field are free. There are still small pumpkins toward the middle/back of the patch. Come get a treat for your chickens, or enjoy some post-season pumpkin carving 😁
We still have a lot of small “field trip” pumpkins in our PYO patch for $2 - great for pint sized jack o lanterns!

We will have the stand open Fridays and Saturdays for the next several weeks, offering peaches, watermelons, and tomatoes as they are available.

Well, look at this! We will have about 18 quarts of peaches on the stand for Monday, as well as quarts of tomatoes, and a few eggs in the fridge.
Just a reminder that we don’t have many peaches this year, so we won’t be open for PYO. What you see on the stand is what we have available.

Saturday, 6/25 will be our LAST day of cherry picking. There are a few trees in the back of the rows (closest to 272) that still have a lot of cherries. Most of the other trees have been heavily picked through.

As many of you know, the vast majority of our peaches froze this spring. However, we have a few show-offs that for some reason are thriving, like this baby tree that wants to prove his worth 😂 For reference, the second picture is what most of the other trees look like.
Cherries will be available a few more days, so come while they’re still around!
Believe it or not, cherry season won’t be around that much longer. If you want cherries, don’t wait! We expect for them to taper off rapidly next week. PYO pricing is $4/quart, and we’re open 8am-8pm.

It’s important to make sure you’re picking ripe cherries! Here’s a helpful guide to show you what you’re looking for:
The first photo is Hedelfingen, which are in the last two rows of cherries. These are a dark red/purple cherry. While the bright red may look appetizing, they are quite sour!
The second picture is Emperor Francis, which are the first two rows of cherries. The brighter the red and yellow on the cherry, the sweeter they will be.
All ripe cherries will be slightly “squishy” - they should not feel hard. And as always, best picking is where the sun shines the most - outer branches, higher branches, and trees on the perimeter of the orchard.

Friday is going to be a beautiful day for picking! The cherry trees provide shade, so picking on hot days is much easier than picking strawberries 😉 Our rainier cherries will be in peak season - we hope to see you!

Monday PYO Details 🍓🍒
🍓Strawberries will only be open a few more days, with Monday probably being our final peak picking day. The end of the season always catches people off guard, so this is your gentle warning that time is running out!
🍒 Cherries are just starting! PYO Emperor Francis (rainier) cherries will be available this week. They are a sweet, yellow and red cherry. Check out our stories for more info.
Both strawberries and cherries are $4/quart.
Strawberry season is very rapidly coming to an end. We will be closed Saturday and Sunday (6/10 & 6/11) and reopen Monday, June 12th for a final few days of picking. However! Swipe left for what’s coming… cherries, and LOTS of them! PYO cherries will begin Monday morning!

⚡️Flash sale⚡️ on all strawberries, Tuesday, June 7th from 8am until it rains (or is sold out), then we will shut things down for the rest of the day. The patch was heavily picked through today, so the majority of the berries that are ripe are 2nds. These are not that pretty, and might need spots cut off of them, but they make great jam/jelly or freezer berries for smoothies! All quarts will be half off, so $2 a quart, June 7th ONLY!
We’re now open!! Feel free to come this evening in case you wanted berries before the rain. They are beautiful and plentiful 🍓🍓🍓

Best picking days this week will be June 1st and 4th. If you are looking to pick just a quart or two, you’ll be just fine to come today, but if you’d like to stock up, we strongly recommend you come Wednesday or Saturday.

A lot of you have been asking about our strawberries, so here’s an update! We should be open the beginning of June, possibly the last few days of May. The strawberry crop looks great, and we’re excited to welcome you back to our farm!
Also, pick your own cherries are looking amazing, so stay tuned for those mid/end of June!

These are a fantastic canning peach, and great for freezing or fresh eating. They’re freestone, so cutting them up is a breeze! Boxes will be available on the stand, then follow the signs to the row marked “contender”. We are self serve and accept exact change, or checks.

There are a #1 quality peach, but a slightly smaller size so they fit better in jars. 3 or more boxes are $15 each, lesser amounts are $20 each. They are 1/2 bushel boxes, approximately 25lbs each. Message us to place an order. These will be available for this week, and part of next week. Other varieties to follow through the end of August.
